VEX IQ – Robotics Camp

The world of robotics competitions will be the focus of a VEX IQ camp. Beginners will be introduced into the world of robot building and programming, but campers
can also fine tune skills for school teams already competing. This camp will lead to continuing opportunities within the world of VEX IQ.

This a Half-Day Camp that runs mornings from July 22ND-26TH

Age: 10-16

Time:

• Check-In 8am-8:30am
• 8:30am-12:00pm
• Pick-up 12-12:30pm

Cost: $250– If your child is staying all day you can choose to send lunch with them or purchase the lunch plan for $35 per week.  All lunches include a sandwich, side, drink, and cookies. You must check out separately for the lunch plan here.

Are you a young woman who is interested in STEAM? This camp is the place for young women who want to know more about designing through technology, engineering principles, and the latest ways to use technology to create STEAM focused projects. Topics covered will be computer-aided design, using a laser and 3D printer, and woodworking.

This is a Half Day Camp that runs Afternoons from July 22nd-26th

Age: 8-14 (Females ONLY!)

• 1Pm-4:30PM

• Pick-up 4:30pm-5pm

Intro to 3D Design (Teens & Adults)

This free class, designed for Teens & Adults, is brought to you by EduCraft Ideas.  

3D computer graphics are used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printing, interactive 3D applications engineering design, artificial intelligence and much more.  You can think of 3d modeling as drawing on the computer in 3 dimensions.  

Through this course, students will be introduced to 3D modeling and animation using Blender 3D. By the end of the course, students will be capable of doing a simple model and animation of their own. The Idea is to empower students to believe that they can acquire a skill mostly on their own, given the right start. 

The course is free but you must register online as there is a limited number of seats. Laptops will be provided but feel free to bring your own!
