Since our opening in February 2017, we have expanded various adult and youth education programs, established scholarship funds for Veterans and female students interested in STEM, and have begun hosting meetups and trips for our makers. All of this success is thanks to supportive community members like you. The generosity of our community is what allows us to continue doing what we are doing, which is bringing innovation, opportunity, and uniqueness to Salisbury. If you would like to continue your support, we are inviting you to participate in our second neighborhood Tool Drive, and help us to collect new and used tools for our makerspace. All tools will go directly into our makerspace so that our makers can do what they do best: make. If you don’t have any tools or would like to help in other ways, we accept monetary donations by both check or online. Donations will be used to buy equipment and materials for our members and program participants to access, as well as be used to develop new programs so that we can truly make a space for everyone in our community. You may rest assured that your gift today will help us continue bringing the best of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education to Salisbury, and the entire Delmarva Peninsula.
How does it work?
Its time for Fall Cleaning! Take a look in your toolbox, shed or garage for any tools or supplies you don’t use anymore – hand tools, power tools, nails, screws, craft items, etc.-ANY tools you don't want, we do! Fill up a bag or a box with your tools and leave it (clearly marked) on your front porch or by your mailbox for pick up. We will be visiting a different neighborhood every week, so make sure your tools are ready for pick up the weekend after you receive this flyer. If you have any questions about how the tool drive works, what items we accept, or how to make donations, feel free to contact us by clicking the button below!
